Are you planning to collect your dream car in the UK? Then take note! From March 5, 2025, an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will be required to enter the United Kingdom. This applies to all short stays of less than six months, including when importing a car.

What Is an ETA and Why Do You Need One?
An ETA is a digital travel authorization that you must apply for before entering the UK. This new system is similar to the ESTA for the United States and will become mandatory from March 2025.
Watch the informative video below to learn more about the ETA.
Key Details About the ETA:
- Required for all travelers who do not need a visa for the UK.
- Valid for two years or until your passport expires.
- Cost: £10 per application.
- Must be applied for at least three days before departure.
For more information on the application process, visit the official UK government website.
